LET'S GET MARRIED is a movie script written specifically for high school seniors and is based on student life experiences in post-Katrina New Orleans. The script was written during school year 2007 - 2008 with feedback from students at Eleanor McMain Secondary School and McDonogh #35 High School who were participating in English classes conducted by Students at the Center (an independent writing program that works in the public schools in New Orleans). The co-teachers were Jim Randels and Kalamu ya Salaam.
